09.03.2010 „Heavy Volxmusic“ meets VERA10, BSX & S24!
Bekanntlich ist der Einstieg beim Texten immer das Schwierigste. Gerade, weil ich nicht nur über ein Event berichte, sondern über etwas, das ich selbst erleben durfte. Aber Tobias Wüstner meinte:„Marco, das muss in die News!“
Nun gut, lieber Leser, ich schreibe nun so, wie ich es empfand, alles andere wäre einfach nicht authentisch, somit hat diese News eher "Blog-Charakter".
Was ist „das“ nun, über welches ich berichten darf:
Am vergangenen Samstag traten in der Eventhalle des Autohofs Strohofer in Geiselwind die „Troglauer Buam“ auf. Die Band betreue ich seit 2004 mit Technik und meiner Freundschaft. Mehr als 200 Jobs absolvierte ich mit VERA10. Denn die Entscheidung für ein System von TW AUDiO hatte ich schon lange vor meiner Zeit als Marketing-Mann bei TW AUDiO getroffen! Zurück zum Samstag, den 06.03.2010. Und den Troglauern:
Obwohl man sicherlich, aufgrund des Namens das „musikalische Material“ erst mal in die Ecke „zünftige Volksmusik“ schiebt, irrt man. Es dominieren harte Riffs und eher rockige Töne statt bodenständiger Heimatklänge.
Nachdem die Band zu den erfolgreichsten Party-Machern im süddeutschen Raum gehört, kamen auch am vergangenen Samstag, trotz erneuten Wintereinbruchs, mehr als 3500 Besucher in die Eventhalle.
Bis dahin wäre das ein normaler „Job“ mit meiner Technik gewesen, denn 2000 Zuhörer und mehr zu beschallen, gehört zum Standard mit 8 - 10 VERA10 Elementen pro Seite. Aber es war dann doch alles andere als ein Standardjob: Neben meinen 24 VERA Tops waren noch neue Produkte am Start und durften sich beweisen: 8 Mid-Bass Extender „S24“ sowie die ersten BSX Subwoofer! Tobias Wüstner brachte die Beta-Muster mit, und nachdem durch ihn die Pegel- und Laufzeitabgleiche aller Einzelkomponenten sowie die raumspezifische Entzerrung des Systems mit Hilfe von EASERA SYSTUNE erledigt war, war das System, angetrieben von 10 Powersoft K3DSP Amps, spielbereit.
Schon bei unseren Teststücken von CD wurde mir bewusst: „Wow, das klingt richtig groß!“ Und so war es dann auch am Abend mit der Band.
Aus einem doch schon sehr leistungsfähigem System, wurde mit dem S24 Mid-Bass-Booster ein heftiges, gut kontrollierbares Rock´n´Roll System. Der Grundtongehalt war deutlich erweitert, es machte einfach richtig Spass an den MH-3 Reglern zu experimentieren, und zu hören, wie das System reagiert!
Der BSX sorgte für Erstaunen bei mir und der ganzen Crew: „Doppeleinundzwanzig? Und dann dieser Punch?“ Diese „Fragefeststellung“ kam dann auch immer wieder von befreundeten Technikern, die dem Abend mit bei wohnten. Auch der Veranstalter, Manfred Strohofer zeigte sich sehr begeistert und streifte unseren F.O.H.-Platz immer wieder mit gehobenen Daumen: „Es klingt überall gleich geil“! Ein schönes Kompliment, denn die Halle mit ihren 65m Länge und 35m Breite ist kein Pappenstil für das, in Relation, eingesetzte Material.
Für mich ganz klar: Die S24 & BSX Feuertaufe war extrem gut gelaufen und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf die prolight & sound in Frankfurt, wo Ihr mich gerne nach meinen weiteren Erfahrungen befragen könnt! Denn in den nächsten Wochen werde ich die Komponenten immer wieder dem „Hardcore-Ohne-Gnade-Rock´n´Roll-Touring-Test“ unterwerfen.

“We are family”- the motto of the TW AUDiO demo days could also be clearly felt on this day, as our new customer support centre "BSS event technology” allows our “sales family” to grow further. Situated directly on the A3 motorway and only approx. 45 minutes to the west of Frankfurt/Main by car, we were able to secure a new company with dedicated colleagues as a partner of TW AUDiO.BSS has already pointed the way with the organisation and preliminary work and an additional, very successful demo day was an excellent start for our cooperation. Therefore we would like to express many thanks to Markus and Manuel Schlimm, Christian Brötz and of course all of the employees of BSS.
We would also like thank the countless visitors who have shown an exceptional interest in the TW AUDiO loud speakers and systems. Many sound and comparison tests took place in the town house of Eschhofen in a pleasant atmosphere. The guests were able to get an impressive picture of Plug 'n'Play systems and individual components. Questions and topics concerning installation, amping etc were discussed extensively in deep conversations with the "expert staff" of BSS and the two product specialists from TW AUDiO, Michael Möhlke and Manuel Joers.
As well as the loud speakers of the M series and the system combinations, it was also possible to listen to our new BSX subwoofer.
The many positive reactions of the specialist visitors to the new 2 x 21 subwoofer were a reason to be pleased: As an extension to VERA-SYS-ONE or PA-SYS-ONE, the BSX is particularly able to flex its “muscles” in the infra-sub area. Also available as a “stand-alone” option and in direct cooperation with the T24 or the VERA1O it manages all ranges up to clearly sounding 120Hz. Thus, it was comprehensible that many of those interested could barely be held back and that they would have gladly taken the largest “family member” of our product range home with them, however that would not have happened. The subwoofer is expected to be available from the prolight+sound trade fair.
We hope to see many of those present again at this year’s prolight+sound and we look forward to many good discussions at our stand A16 in hall 8.0.

TW AUDiO has secured Laauser & Vohl as an additional sales and support partner TW AUDiO is reacting to the steadily growing customer enquiries with the cooperation with Laauser & Vohl“We are very pleased that we were able to secure an additional renowned partner for our existing sales and support network in Germany with Laauser & Vohl. Our aim is to guarantee the customers optimal support and to fulfil the increasing demands of the market”, says Tobias Wüstner, manager of TW AUDiO.
Thomas Korthals, manager of Laauser & Vohl adds, “As the German distributor for Powersoft, we have supplied TW AUDiO with the Powersoft K3DSP system amplifiers since the Prolight+Sound 2009, and therefore, TW AUDiO is an ideal expansion of our product portfolio for Laauser & Vohl."

Final report regarding "OPEN DAY+" 2010
Ludwigsburg, 2010-01-27. In one of the coolest convention centers, called the "Scala -Theater" located in the metropolitan area of Stuttgart, they opened the doors for the first TW AUDIO "OPEN DAY+".
Approx. 250 trade visitors from all over Germany, as well as Austria, Italy, Switzerland, England, France even from Korea were in attendance.
The complete TV AUDIO single compontents and system programs were represented physically and in an acoustic way. There were selected music compositions presented on CD and the three musicians of the Philipp Poisel Band were the special highlight. The band played live via all systems. In the run-up, the band performed some compositions and presented an excellent ear candy at a high musical level. Mixed by Jochen Etzel via soundcraft Vi6 console, there were some "light bulb" moments.
What could be heard out of the small system M-SYS-TWO on perfomance, surprised a lot of guests and even us!
Moderated in a charming way, was the presentation by Rainer Schober our Austrian TW AUDIO partner and distributor.
Besides our well-known systems you could also listen to the new BSX (Big- Subwoofer-EXtension). The sound generated was taken by two special developed 21 driver units with a 5.3 " voice coil and a possible maximum hub of more than + / - 30 mm. The useable frequency range of the BSX is between 28 and 120 Hz. The dimensions are compatible to the well-known TW AUDIO Subs S30 and B30. Cutouts for all reasonable combinations can be taken for granted. More detailed information will be found in a short time on the rubric "news" as well as in the rubric "product parts" on our page. The BSX will be available on the prolight + sound 2010.
Besides workshops of Laauser & Vohl about the Powersoft K3DSP range of amps, as well as of our collegue Michael Möhlke to simulation software EASE Focus, Tobias Wüstner presented some more news out of the prosessing shop.
The M-series will be expanded by a complete full range box called M6. With its 6.5 " / 1 " equipment, the M6 is predestinated for small sounding and the steadily growing instalation sector. The launch on the market is also planed for PLS 2010.
A monitor for the stage is in process and will be released soon. The low profile wedge with an entire new developed 15 " / 1.4 " Coax- Cassis assembly is very elegant. A BEM optimated oval horn tweeter will supply a selected and harmonious radiation.
Also the VERA 10, our vertical array model will be expanded: the midbass extension S24. Supplied with 2 x 12 " the S24 is a hybridconstruction with a high efficiency for the frequence area of 70 to 300 Hz - to be seen as the "metal extension" box for the extra impulse in the LowMids. The S24 can either be flown in VERA 10 Array or as a side extension beside the array as well as it can be used in the stacking business. Maturity phase and availability will be stated soon.
The dinner was at 6 pm. While enjoying the mediterranean meal, the guests had the opportunity to talk intensively in a relaxing atmosphere. The guest know each other in the branche and had great pleasure meeting colleagues and having an exciting and casual "19-inch-talk".
In the end of the TW AUDO "OPEN DAY+" Phillip Poisel - singer and songwriter, newcomer 2009- performed with his band an exclusive concert for our guests. The sound came out of our well-known VERA SYS-ONE which reflected the silent sound as well as the rocking sounds with pressure.
The atmosphere of the "Scala Theater" and the heartly and courteous service by the Scala team made this first TW AUDIO "OPEN DAY+" to a great event for the visitors and also for us.

12.11.2009 Presentation Day in Franken/Hirschaid
We made it ! TW AUDIO´s first presentation day in Franconia. First of all we would like to thank our numerous visitors for coming.
Quite a few of them travelled distances of more than 200 km in order to take part in this event. This is very gratifying, as it shows that we´re doing the right thing by organizing these presentation days. Many participants have confirmed – this kind of presentation is spot on! It offers the possibility to listen to the various systems and constellations, as well as occasion for extensive discussions. Our motto “we are family” is thus very much alive. For this we thank you very much indeed! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Apart from our current product range the prototype of our future Sub BSX was demonstrated.
We are in the process of optimizing the sound technique, and will thus, taking into consideration the input (as well as the enthusiasm) of our visitors , very soon wind up the serial maturity of the product.
Our thanks also to the company Heim Lichttechnik for the exhibition of the “Guil” product range, as well as the firm Lauser & Vohl for the thorough information of our guests concerning the Powersoft K-series. Our cooperation was very agreeable.
For us the day turned out to be extremly informative, and talking to you remains our basis for further development.
