This year’s Worship Facilities Expo (WFX), held October 10-12 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, was one of the busiest events yet for the ever-growing worship market. And it was a natural fit for TW AUDiO, which marked its debut at WFX this year.
One of the major attractions at WFX is the annual Live Sound International Loudspeaker Demo. This year’s event drew more than 700 audio professionals and church sound personnel over its two-day run. Now in its seventh year, the LSI Loudspeaker Demo offers a unique side-by-side listening opportunity for visitors to evaluate the leading line array and loudspeaker systems in a round robin format, featuring both portable and compact systems.
TW AUDiO demonstrated a single T24N loudspeaker with three B30 subwoofers in cardioid configuration, a system that more than held its own against a series of multiple cabinet line arrays. For the portable competition, TW AUDiO’s entry of one compact C5 coaxial system with B10 sub delivered performance that stood up to the competition’s much larger entries.
At the booth, attendees were able to get an up-close look at several TW AUDiO systems, including VERA36 vertical array speakers with S33 sub; VERA10 with L24 mid-low and S18 sub; T20 flexible horn-loaded speaker with B18 sub; T24N with B30 sub, T30i installed loudspeaker system; as well as the full M-Series and C-Series lines.
The response from WFX attendees was nothing short of overwhelming, with visitors consistently remarking on how impressed they were by the power and performance of TW AUDiO’s products. It was an auspicious debut for TW AUDiO, celebrating our first WFX show, but certainly not our last.
