So that’s why we chose it as the location for the first two-day VERA36 workshop in the run-up to the Oldie Night on 4th May, where the VERA36 system was put to good use.
Nearly all our TW AUDiO distributors from around the world accepted our invitation to take part in the workshop.
On day one, guests were given an in-depth presentation on the topic of Vertical Array and Subwoofer Alignment, with the idea behind VERA36 and its construction features of course being the focus of attention.
Head of Support Michal Poplawski explained in several seminar blocks the basics and inter-relations of sound dispersion in vertical and horizontal lines. Subwoofer assemblies were, as so often, one of the favourite topics for the participants, and they were shown practical examples of the effect of various sub arrangements – conventional left and right and in a row at the front of the stage, as well as cardio and endfire set-ups. The user-friendly Powersoft ARMONIA software means that even more complex combinations using various different subwoofer models such as BSX and the VERA S33 can easily be grouped and controlled.
On day two, Tobias Wüstner gave a thorough explanation of the individual components and accessories of the VERA36 system. Other workshop topics included EASE Focus, as well as the Smaart measuring software and a presentation of the possibilities offered by ARMONIA.
Of course there were plenty of opportunities for hearing the VERA36 as well, and participants were able to find out how the rigging works, with its various set-up options.
Two exciting and above all informative days with plenty of “19 inch talk” demonstrated once again how important users find not only the products but also the transfer of skills. We will be announcing more seminar dates on our website. To be sure of getting a place, you should subscribe to our TW AUDiO newsletter.
Unfortunately, the two days of seminars for German-speaking participants have had to be cancelled due to several seminar leaders being ill.
We will be announcing a new date in our newsletter and on our website.
