TWAUDiO prolight+sound 2016 Show Report

The prolight+sound 2016 was moved to the exhibition halls at the front of the site. TW AUDiO took this opportunity to introduce a new stand layout larger in size. Our customers and users from around the globe and we, as exhibitors, were impressed by the modern, luminous hall 3.1.

Not only were our customers appreciative of our new and open stand layout, but also by our new products which have been presented at the stand and in the Live Sound Arena. Beside the TW AUDiO classic T24N, the visitors had the opportunity to listen to the brand new prototypes of VERA20. The two-way system closes the gap between VERA10 and VERA36 system. VERA20 is equipped with 2 x 10“ for the low frequencies and a completely new developed HF unit which brings out the sophisticated and crispy HiFi sound. The enclosure has a mere 60cm in width, 28cm in height by only 24kg weight. The VERA20 rigging system is based on the VER36 rigging system allowing a simple one man handling.
The VERA20 system will be completed by the flyable cardioid subwoofer VERA S32 (1 x 18"/1 x 14") with the same width of 60cm. Just like its bigger brother S33, the S32 also allows a cardioid and an end-fired application through its two-way system. Thus making it flexible for all locations and applications.

The T20, which has been presented at the prolight+sound in 2015 is now available for short delivery. Being equipped with the same high-class HF unit as the T24N, the T20 shows the potential of becoming a classic too. A typical TWAUDiO sound, impressive 138dB SPLmax/1m at a weight of 24 kg. Deployable vertically or horizontally, available with changeable 60° x 40° or 90° x 50° horns.

More exciting news: next to its proven touring products, TWAUDiO will offer a portfolio of installation products, identified by the addition of a small "i". VERA20i and T20i will be the first ones derived from the touring version.

Technically the installation products will be equipped exactly as the touring products. Only the rigging systems will be adapted according to the demands of the installation. The two installations tops will be joined by the flyable bass reflex subwoofer VERA S17i (1 x 18"). Due to the same width of 60cm allowing arrays and groundstacking with VERA20i.

Next to the new systems we introduced accessories such as the universal frame UF10 for the VERA10 family. As a rigging frame for up to 8 x VERA10 tops (BGV C1), on a stand, or stacked, or for applications with an inclination of -10°, the UF10 offers a solution for all eventualities.

The new front cover fabric is not only a visual development. Next to its classy design it is exceedingly tearproof, durable and stain repellent. Its special feature: the especially developed hybrid fiber tissue guarantees a better sound and its water deriving property leaves any moisture to drip down on the outside, preventing a loss in high frequencies. Another high quality TWAUDiO feature.

And finally, what would the prolight+sound be without the annual TW AUDiO stand party?
Guests were entertained by the awesome John Noville and band, playing a mix of Reggae, R'n B' and Pop. Having enjoyed a fine “TW AUDiO beer” accompanied by tasty finger food and pleasant conversations in an all-round relaxed atmosphere.

We were very happy about the shown interest by all the clients, old and new, from all parts of the world and all the positive feedback we received over these four days. We really enjoyed it all.
