Kangnam Baptist Church celebrates 40 years with tw audio

A respected mainstay of Seoul’s vibrant house of worship community, Kangnam Joongang Baptist Church recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, having built an overall membership of some 5,000 active worshippers. The church also recently upgraded its audio-visual systems to include a substantial front of house sound reinforcement system based on TW AUDiO.

At Kangnam Joongang Baptist Church, traditional worship is blended with live music, performed by the church’s in-house band. High quality audio is therefore a priority for the technical team and only the best technology is welcome.

Meeting that challenge, TW AUDiO’s Korean partner, Star Networks, has provided the church with a powerful front of house solution for its main 800-seat sanctuary, comprising 12 VERA10 enclosures, flown six per side in a left-right configuration. Both suspended arrays are topped by single S15 subwoofers, providing low-end extension. On the stage below, meanwhile, two C12 wedges serve as monitors.
