September 13th, Nyborg in Denmark, 12 000 half-marathon runners cross the Great Belt Bridge or Storebæltsbroen, ending up at the special organized area at Cirkuspladsen. The BSA Sound company, the Danish TW AUDiO distributor, provided audio and lighting systems for the event. “It was a great possibility for us as TW AUDiO disributor to test the VERA36 system on a medium size event like this", says Bjorn Andersen, owner of BSA Sound.
“The 14 elements of VERA36 on each side covered the 100 meter stretch perfectly. Despite strong side winds, the sound was all the time just in your face” adds Peter Jørgensen, BSA Sound engineer.
The event was open to everyone and bands like Big Fat Snake, Peter + De Andre Kopier recharged people’s batteries after the long run.
“On Sunday, the day after the event, we held a small open day at BSA Sound, where we could share detailed info about the TW AUDiO products. We built a ground support and offered the possibility to listen to VERA10 and VERA36 to all the guests who couldn't hear it live the day before. In addition we stacked PA-SYS-ONE with T24N and that always impresses everyone. It has been a great start for TW AUDiO here, and we can already see that TW AUDiO becomes a long distance runner in Denmark”, ends Bjorn.
