After show report prolight+sound 2017

This year’s prolight+sound opened its doors under sunny skies from Tuesday, April 4th until Friday, April 7th.

The trade show duo PLS and Musikmesse attracted approximately 100.000 visitors. An exact number solely for the PLS was not available at the time of editorial reporting.

In general, the number of visitors and exhibitors seems to have increased, especially concerning international guests and exhibitors.

TW AUDiO expanded its product range with additional loudspeakers for the installation series, offering integrators and users innovative solutions for the diversified installation market. The design of the loudspeakers of the i-series allows a seamless and unobtrusive integration in any architectural background, no matter if in multipurpose halls, night clubs, live clubs, Houses of Worship or sports arenas. The assets of the new products created a lot of interest among the customers and were highly appreciated:

T20i - the installation version of the already successful T20
T30i - a full range top not only for stand alone applications
VERA20i - the installation version of the new compact VERA20 array
S17i - the matching subwoofer for the VERA20 array

On the Live Sound Arena visitors were able to listen to TW AUDiO’s VERA20, T24N and VERA S33, representing an unparalleled sound with a compact and appealing design.

An absolute highlight again was the TW AUDiO stand party. The band, consisting of musicians from different musical backgrounds (Herbert Grönemeyer, Glasperlenspiel, Kollegah, Jenny Marsala Band) got everybody dancing to their popular repertoire.

On the same evening, the Mondo dr Awards Ceremony took place in the Forum of Messe Frankfurt for the first time. TW AUDiO was one of the sponsors for the event and supplied the PA for the evening. Congratulations to the Mondo dr team on the success of this expertly hosted ceremony.

Paris Society transfers its concept of an upscale French restaurant from Paris to the beautiful old train station Brotteaux in Lyon, and it is worth a visit.
