Jochen Etzel (Freelance sound engineer amongst others at Marla Glen, Beatbetrieb.....):
Jochen-1When I had the TW AUDiO system first deposited at a gig I was extremely sceptical as to whether it would work. With 200 jobs a year you hear about the most diverse material and make your own experiences. Two tops in 15/2nd size and four small subwoofers for 800 Rock’n‘Roll people; whether it will go well are your usual thoughts. With the TW AUDiO system the scepticism already turned into happy amazement with the sound check. In the gig the small T24 tops showed their true potential in relation to sound level accuracy and assertiveness. At the same time mixing is really good fun as the TW AUDiO system plays exactly what I mix on the desk. Even when the PA seems to have reached its limits there is still headroom for solo instruments and vocals. The B30 subs sound extremely controlled and for their size go amazingly deep. After several brilliant jobs on the system in different locations and with diverse bands, including Marla Glen, I accepted the TW AUDiO system into my technical rider and am happy every time that I have the pleasure of working on it. A “small” PA system with mighty charm.......

Oliver Meinhold “AMOS Event Technology”
amos_oliver_meinholdAs a leaser in the field of mobile event technology I face customer requirements and PA- system situations. Alongside the audio performance my decision on a loudspeaker system is thus also dependent on cost effectiveness, scalability, expandability, durability, the suitability for handling and the road as well as possible existing pooling options. The audio system should be developed with a definitive sound quality and constructively to the end. During my analysis and sounding of the market in the area of 60x40 horn systems the TW AUDiO T24 / B30 system convinced me.
The top T24 offers a sophisticated rigging system as well as practical handling alongside outstanding performance with comparatively compact dimensions and a light weight. The B30 subwoofer is characterised by its pulse fidelity, dry reproduction with simultaneous high dynamics and astonishing depth. My decision to choose TW AUDiO is reinforced to me every day by customers, guest engineers and colleagues.

Oliver Mann “Mann Audiotechnik”
olivermannWith the TW AUDiO system I can drive up to events with 1,000 people in a 3.5 ton truck, including lighting. I can easily load and unload on site and in storage on my own, storage space is minimal. The purchasing costs are very clear, especially with Hoellstern amps. The result is: with this system I can earn money and not just use it. The acceptance here in the Rhine Main area is improving almost every day, two of my regular bands do not want anything else.... About the sound: no EQ is needed when using it at open-air events, the system plays with a musicality which really reminds you of very good studio monitors. The system is in no way euphemistic but simply transparent, dynamic and powerful. I like the bass range with the absence of a booming box sound. The T24 tops make an impressive mid-frequency board possible without dragging 2“ driver sound. You are often only aware of the true volume when your try to chat and in the process do not hear your own voice anymore despite shouting at each other.
My summary:
There is no comparable system for me which is so perfect in the areas of sound, handling, truck space and purchasing price.

Rainer Diezinger (Freelance sound engineer amongst others at Woodpeckers):
Rainer-1The Woodpeckers play Hard Rock with two distorted guitars, keyboards and multi vocals, the whole thing at a relatively high stage volume. Such a dense music programme is always a challenge for PA-systems. Even some of the larger systems often have problems with this. With the TW AUDiO T24 / B30 system I am able to place vocals over the mix without any problems despite the heavy guitars and serious sound levels. Even with 110 dB (A) on the mixing desk the system still remains clean, punchy and dynamic. Considering the size and weight of the box this is a really incredible performance which continues to fascinate me.....

Woodpeckers (Top 40 Rock band), Hans-Jürgen Fischer (guitarist and manager):
woodpeckers_1In the search for a new and more efficient PA-system Tobias Wüstner told us about his new development. We then agreed a demo date at a gig at which Tobias was driven into the 40 m long tent in a VW bus. Unbelievable that the whole PA was supposed to be in there, we helped with the unloading. Immediately someone commented on whether someone had forgotten to install the loudspeakers into the bass boxes. The boxes were so small and light and so brilliant to hold and lift due to the many handles. We had unloaded the whole 8 basses, 2 tops and a small amp rack and were rather concerned about whether it was at all possible to correctly supply the expected 1,000 guests with sound with this material. Tobias suspended the tops on our front truss, we laid the basses next to each other in front of the stage, the whole thing looked like a toy.
When Rainer our sound engineer inserted his test title I could not believe my ears. What power, directness and clarity hit me in that moment and in relation to the “tiny” system was really unfathomable. The two small flown shoe boxes managed to still generate perfect speech intelligibility with enough volume even in the rear area of the tent at a distance of 30 m. After further tests in a larger tent and in different halls we decided on the TW AUDiO system and got 12 B30 subs, 4 T24 tops and 3 ASID amps. This material gives us maximum flexibility to provide a top sound quality PA-system at all our events from a 200 man club to an open-air with an audience of 2,000 with minimal transport volume and weight. Due to the lightness of the tops we can simply suspend these whenever possible and without expensive special tripods or elaborate flyware to our front truss or place them on tripods with brackets at small gigs.
